Hello and Welcome!

Red House Books is going through a bit of a update!

I've always had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted this space to be but I've been detoured from my path by...lots and lost of other people's opinions and ways of doing things...

I'm committed to this little chunk of the interweb but I've also branched out into other places so! Now it's time to think of Red House Books as more of a hub of all things me! And Me is a hell of a lot of book love!

Stay tuned!

NetGalley July FINAL WRAP UP

And.....stop!

NetGalley July has come to an end and now one question remains...

What did you read?

Remember when I told you to keep track? I meant it because now it's time to share :)

In order to be eligible for the giveaway, sharing is mandatory but it's also easy.

What to do:
*Write a wrap up post with all the NetGalley books you read in July and comment below with your link
OR
*Comment below with your list of books read
OR
*Email me your list (WilowRaven[at]gmail[dot]com)
AND
*Let me know if you would be interested in participating again in October :)

You have until next Monday August 8th
I'll be tallying things up as you comment and I'll announce our totals and winners next week

Remember, you need to have Declared Yourself in order to be eligible for the giveaway prizes (don't try to sneak it in now....I'll do this all over again in October so don't worry ;)
If you didn't declare yourself but still want the world to know what NetGalley books you read - let me know and I'll still include your reads in our grand totals.

Any questions? Do not hesitate to ask!

So again, I ask...

What did you read?

  21. I only read 3 books this month from NetGalley. I would definitely love to participate in October--June-August is our busy time at work (55+ hr work weeks) but October we will be back to 40hrs so I will have much more time to devote to new books!

    I read:
Cinder & Ella by Melissa Lemon
    Semi-Sweet by Roisin Meaney
    Traitor's Wife by Kathleen Kent

    ReplyDelete
  22. I read:

  23. This NetGalley Month did not go nearly as well as the last one for me. I only managed to read 2 1/2 NetGalley books! Ugh! Here's what I read:

    Simply Genius! by Ervin Laszlo
Murder in the 11th House by Mitchell Scott Lewis
The Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen (1/2 way through)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh! I meant to also say that I'm not sure if I'll participate in October. I was hoping to spend the last few months of the year focusing on my personal TBR pile, rather than reading for reviews.

  25. Here's our wrap up post. We both read 5 books. :)

  27. I did horribly. I have far too many RL books to read, so I feel more pressure to read those than to read the e-versions.

Only read 3: Doctor Who II, Vol 1, True Blood: Tainted Love Vol 1, and Unearthly.

I'd love to participate in October. Maybe I'll have cleared up enough books by then to focus on e-galleys.

  28. I'm not going to do a wrap-up post, but here's my tally:

    Reviewed links:
One Good Reason by Sarah Mayberry
Always a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough
    Lost Voices by Sarah Porter
Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle

I have one review to post in the next day or so for A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan that I read last month but didn't get scheduled in time.

I don't know if they count for anything but goodie points but I have a few NG books that I've read but haven't posted for review because they don't fall within my personal (and/or some publisher) rules for posting yet.

    The Iron Knight
    Lord of the Vampires
    Tris and Izzy
    Where Demons Fear to Tread

I'd love to participate again in October!

    Mercy by Rebecca Lim
The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross

  30. Here is my wrap up review:

Three books read. (I will be doing the reviews during Monster Review-A-thon), out of my goal for four. so I am happy!

A Wicked Wolf by Brenda Williamson - 1 star
Blood of the Demon by Rosalie Lario - 4 Star

I didn't quite finish Out of Blue like a planned, but I should wrap it up tonight.

I'd love to participate in October! I've made a note on my calendar that it will happen. That way I will not have myself overbooked like I did in August.

    Thanks for hosting this again!!
