When I first started blogging this would have been a huge pain in the arse for me. I knew nothing of RSS feeds or feed readers - I didn't have a Twitter account and I rarely used Facebook (for blogging). Basically, when I first started blogging, and following blogs, GFC was the only tool I really used.
Boy things have changed!

You can subscribe to Red House Books via email, hook into my RSS feed, use Facebook's Networked blogs....not to mention Twitter, Goodreads....you guys get the picture :)
So! While (if I'm understanding Google's policy correctly) my GFC connect will not disappear on March 1 - since RHB is a Blogger blog I did want to offer up YET ANOTHER WAY TO STALK ME....I mean...follow me :)
The man behind LinkyTools (which you've probably used on blogs before maybe without even realizing it) has created Linky Followers. It's an alternative to GFC that he, and others, are hoping will become popular enough to be not only an alternative but a BETTER alternative to GFC.
I've only just signed up for an account myself but so far, it looks pretty cool.
So! (again ;) If you are so inclined, I have installed a NEW LINKY FOLLOWERS WIDGET IN THE SIDEBAR TO THE RIGHT
