Hello and Welcome!

Red House Books is going through a bit of a update!

I've always had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted this space to be but I've been detoured from my path by...lots and lost of other people's opinions and ways of doing things...

I'm committed to this little chunk of the interweb but I've also branched out into other places so! Now it's time to think of Red House Books as more of a hub of all things me! And Me is a hell of a lot of book love!

Stay tuned!

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.

This review should really only consist of three words:

READ THIS BOOK!

Seriously - would I lie to you? :)
This book was fabulous. A real thriller with an ending that made me scream 'What? I want more!"

This story draws you in. There are so many unknowns, so many facts you just need to know! I loved how, as a reader, you are learning right along side the characters. Most of them don't know much more then you do. With every turn of the page a little more is reveled...maybe :)
What is it that we are seeing? Whose interpretation should we believe? Who should we trust?

A true mystery, a great adventure and a really really good read all around.
I highly recommend this book to any who like dystopian fiction, mysteries, urban fantasy, thrillers, um...books?

5 out of 5 stars!
